We cater to the individual by holding small classes in a supportive and nurturing environment where each student gets personal guidance and encouragement to work within their own abilities and achieve their maximum potential through the principles and practice of yoga. Classes are suitable for all ages and fitness levels. Modifications are offered for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students.

Laya Fisher, founder of Brisbane Yoga Studio, has taught yoga internationally for almost 10 years.

Known as a nurturing and compassionate teacher with an inspiring, uplifting and playful style, Laya excels in bringing the ancient wisdom of yoga alive with a passion for making it relevant to the realities of your contemporary life.

In addition to being certified in both Hatha Yoga (Dip. IYTA) and Dru Yoga Therapy (Dip. ISDY), she is also a fully-qualified Ayurvedic nutritionist, Mindful Eating educator and a Freelance Yoga Writer whose articles regularly feature in Australian Yoga Life Magazine.
